Corel to discontinue web-based design software Corel Vector on August 31, 2025
Corel has announced that it will discontinue Corel Vector, its web-based vector design application, on August 31, 2025. Users will lose access to the software and any files stored within the service after this date. To prevent data loss, Corel is urging users to export and save their projects ahead of the shutdown.
Previously known as Gravit Designer, Corel Vector catered to a broad range of creative tasks, including illustration, user interface design, and digital art. It's possible Corel is shutting down Corel Vector to focus more on CorelDraw Go, a newer web-based platform that supports a wider array of graphic design workflows such as drawing, painting, vector work, web graphics, and photo editing.
For designers seeking feature-complete alternatives, established vector graphic software such as Illustrator, Affinity Designer, and Inkscape may provide similar functionality. A full list of alternative options is available here for those affected by the upcoming shutdown.

I knew it would happen when Corel rebranded it and crippled its features. Though there must have been a way to grow it properly if Corel didn't buy it.
