Xbox Game Pass adds Retro Classics collection with over 50 Activision games

Xbox and Antstream Arcade Arcade have launched the Retro Classics collection, adding over 50 classic Activision games to Xbox Game Pass. This new offering features iconic titles such as Pitfall, Commando, Grand Prix, and Mech Warrior 2: 31st Century Combat.

Retro Classics is available immediately to all Xbox Game Pass subscribers across Ultimate, Standard, and PC Game Pass tiers, with no extra charge. The rollout also includes Xbox Game Pass Core users, though access is currently unavailable in Japan. To get started, users must search for and install the dedicated Retro Classics app from the Xbox or Microsoft Store. After installation, players can stream these legacy titles directly on Xbox consoles or Windows PCs via the app interface.

Xbox has announced that Retro Classics will continue expanding, aiming for more than 100 games in the future, including additional Activision and Blizzard entries. Alongside the new library, exclusive achievements have been integrated for supported classic games.
