Brave for Android adds tap-to-block page clutter feature

Brave for Android version 1.78 introduces a new 'Block Elements' feature within its Shields menu, allowing users to tap on and hide unwanted page elements on any website. This update builds on Brave’s existing ad, tracker, and prompt blocking, giving users more direct control over visual clutter, which is especially helpful on smaller mobile screens. The Block Elements tool has also been improved on Desktop to offer a more consistent experience across platforms.
