Anthropic enhances Claude AI with Research and Google Workspace integration

Anthropic has unveiled two new features for Claude, enhancing its capabilities as a collaborative tool. The first feature, Research, allows Claude to conduct comprehensive searches across both internal work contexts and the web. This enables faster decision-making and action-taking by systematically exploring questions and providing thorough answers with citations.

Additionally, Claude can now integrate with Google Workspace, including Gmail, Calendar, and Google Docs. This integration allows Claude to securely access and analyze emails, documents, and calendar events, eliminating the need for manual file uploads or repeated context provision.

For Claude Enterprise users, administrators can activate cataloging to boost retrieval quality and accuracy. This feature uses a specialized index of organizational documents, ensuring that even deeply buried or dispersed information is easily accessible.
