Proton Drive and Docs now support collaboration with non-Proton users

Proton has introduced new collaboration features for Proton Drive and Docs, enabling users to work with others who do not have Proton accounts. The latest updates allow file, folder, and document sharing with non-Proton users through generated sharing links. Users can create folders and provide editor access links for others to upload files directly, facilitating seamless collaboration without requiring account sign-up.

To share files or folders, users can select the item, click Share, toggle Create public link, and choose between Editor or Viewer access. Additionally, email notifications alert users to comments or edit suggestions in shared documents. Proton Drive's mobile app for iOS and Android also includes Docs, allowing users to respond to comments and make edits on the go. These features are available to all Proton Drive users.
