JetBrains releases Fleet 1.47 with multiline comment folding, AI chat updates, and more
JetBrains has rolled out version 1.47 of Fleet, its powerful code editor, bringing new features, enhancements, and bug fixes. This update enhances code readability and navigation by adding folding support for multiline comments in languages such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Kotlin, C#, C++, Python, Swift, and XML, enabling users to collapse and expand lengthy comment blocks.
The AI chat functionality sees two new capabilities: users can now search for web content directly through the chat and retrieve content from links. Additionally, a read-only indicator has been added to the clipboard when using the editor or Git diff tool, providing a clear visual cue for files that cannot be modified, thus minimizing confusion and preventing accidental edits.
A navigation bar is now featured in the Text Search preview window, displaying the full file path of each file. This improvement offers better context, allowing users to quickly ascertain a file's location within their project. Fleet 1.47 also includes several minor enhancements and bug fixes.
