Grok faces backlash after being caught censoring negative remarks about Trump and Musk
The recently released model Grok 3 has come under scrutiny in recent days after social media users discovered it had briefly censored unflattering mentions of Donald Trump and Elon Musk. In its "Think" setting, Grok 3 avoided naming Trump or Musk when asked about misinformation spreaders, a change traced back to an xAI employee's modification of the system prompt. This alteration was confirmed by Igor Babuschkin, xAI's engineering lead, who stated that the change was temporary and reversed after user feedback highlighted the inconsistency with the company's values.
Despite Musk's claims of Grok 3 being a "maximally truth-seeking AI," the incident raised concerns about interference in politically sensitive topics. Prior to the patch, Grok 3 controversially accused Trump, Musk, and JD Vance of causing harm to America and even suggested the death penalty for Trump and Musk, leading to further intervention from xAI engineers.
The situation highlights the political nature of misinformation, as both Trump and Musk have a history of false claims. Notably, X's Community Notes have repeatedly flagged their misinformation, to which Musk recently responded by saying he would "fix" it soon.

It's going to be a long four years for TDS sufferers like you......
That is if the US economy will even last four years under the ketamin+dementia induced freakshow 🫠
It's already doing better than it was under Joe "My butt's been wiped!" Biden's regime.
Elon Musk and his life, his companies, and his dictatorial destruction of US institutions should be enough to ban him from even news.
Hang the presumptive king.
Save yourself. remove Elon from your life.
