Navidrome 0.59 adds selective folder scanning, scrobble history, two new themes, and more

Navidrome 0.59 delivers a key upgrade for self-hosted music streaming, featuring selective folder scanning and improvements to the file system watcher. These changes offer more reliable and efficient music library management for both new and experienced users.

Following the core scanner updates, this version introduces native scrobble and listen history tracking. Navidrome now records listening habits, which will be leveraged in future features such as personalized listening summaries and advanced visualizations.

For administrators, new command-line interface commands streamline the process of user account management. These tools enable direct handling of user accounts from the terminal, simplifying maintenance tasks for those who self-host.

Building on the user experience enhancements, two additional visual themes, SquiddiesGlass and AMusic, expand customization options. The AMusic theme draws inspiration from Apple Music, offering familiar visual styling to interested users.

Additional improvements include general bug fixes, expanded translation support, and new configuration options for advanced use cases. These updates collectively contribute to more stable and flexible operation.
