Your Google Keep reminders are being moved over to Google Tasks

Google has begun to automatically save all Google Keep reminders to Google Tasks, as announced last year. This change means that any existing date and time-based reminders in Keep will be moved over to Tasks without requiring user intervention.

Following this update, users can now see their reminders originating from Keep as tasks within Google Calendar and in the standalone Google Tasks app. Additionally, those using the Gemini app with the Tasks extension enabled can query and manage these reminders through voice or text.

Building on this integration, Google Tasks becomes the primary solution for managing to-dos within Google Workspace. Users can add and update tasks from various Workspace products, such as Keep, Gmail, Calendar, Chat, Docs, or through Gemini. Google Tasks will then synchronize these updates to ensure users always have access to their most current to-do lists across all supported apps.
