Google is now rolling out its Gemini 2.0 Flash advanced model to all Gemini users

The Google Gemini app has integrated Google's new Gemini 2.0 Flash model, enhancing performance for all Gemini users. This latest model boasts twice the speed of its predecessor, Gemini 1.5 Pro, and excels in key benchmarks for speed and efficiency. It supports multimodal inputs and outputs, including images, videos, audio, and text. The update is now standard for Gemini app users across web and mobile platforms, although older models remain accessible for ongoing conversations.

Gemini 2.0 Flash offers improved response times and performance for tasks such as brainstorming, learning, and writing. Additionally, the app now incorporates Imagen 3, Google's advanced image-generation model, allowing users to create more detailed and textured images from text descriptions.

While all users can generate AI visuals, Gemini Advanced users can create images featuring people and benefit from a 1M token context window for uploading extensive files. They also enjoy priority access to new features like Deep Research and other forthcoming tools.
