Drupal CMS 1.0 launches with AI tools, pre-configured features, and other enhancements
Drupal has officially launched Drupal CMS 1.0, a new version of its platform aimed at simplifying the creation of digital experiences for marketers and content teams. Key enhancements include a quick setup with smart defaults, AI tools for faster implementation, and pre-configured features for site search and media management. It also offers seamless integration with marketing tools for SEO, consent management, and analytics, alongside automatic updates and an intuitive UI for new feature installation.
Built on Drupal Core, this release ensures full compatibility with the Drupal ecosystem, supporting multilingual sites and content workflows. While Drupal CMS aims to enhance accessibility without sacrificing flexibility and scalability, ongoing updates and new features are anticipated to better meet marketers' needs. Among these future enhancements is the Experience Builder, a visual tool for simplifying digital experience creation, with its initial version expected later in 2025.
