Ghost introduces native support for one-time tips and donations to boost creator earnings

Ghost, the widely-used open source blogging and newsletter platform, has introduced a new feature enabling audiences to support creators with one-time payments, bypassing the need for memberships. While Ghost has always allowed one-time payments, the process was cumbersome. The new update simplifies this by adding native support for tips and donations.

Effective immediately, any Ghost publication connected to Stripe can generate a dedicated payment link for one-time contributions. Creators can set a suggested tip amount and integrate the payment link anywhere on their Ghost site. Both members and non-members can make these payments, and creators will receive email notifications for each transaction.
