The retro gaming cloud streaming service, Antstream Arcade, is scheduled to launch on PS4 and PS5 on September 6, 2024, delivering over 1,300 classic games to PlayStation consoles. Focused on preserving and celebrating gaming history, the service offers a vast collection of titles from the '80s to the early 2000s. This release will be the first instance of a third-party cloud gaming platform being available on Sony's consoles.
PlayStation users can subscribe to Antstream Arcade for $39.99 per year or choose lifetime access for a one-time payment of $99.99. The service features global leaderboards, community challenges, and achievements to enhance the gaming experience.
Already available on Xbox, mobile devices, Samsung TVs, and PC through its website and the Epic Games Store, Antstream Arcade continues to expand its reach. A Steam version has been listed as "coming soon" since October 2022.
