Voicemod V3 launches with a redesigned UI and new Voicemod Key for gaming consoles

Voicemod has launched Voicemod V3, a comprehensive update for its desktop app on PC and Mac, aimed at improving performance, sound quality, and resource efficiency. The new version offers faster startup times, quicker voice switching, reduced crackling, and lower latency, while also featuring a smaller install size to optimize storage space.

The update brings significant enhancements to sound realism and introduces customizable soundboards that now support custom art, descriptive titles, drag-and-drop reorganization, and settings for loop, volume, and mute. Additionally, the Voicemod Soundboard app for Android and iOS now includes landscape mode, native iPad compatibility, and a customizable grid, ensuring lag-free voice switching and sound triggering synced with V3.

Voicemod also unveiled the "Voicemod Key," a USB-C dongle designed to integrate voice changing and soundboard features with gaming consoles like PS5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch. This device routes audio through a mobile device running the Voicemod app, enabling real-time voice changes and custom soundboard audio in party chats. While future plans aim to extend its functionality to mobile voice chat apps, the current version supports only wired headsets due to audio capture requirements. The Voicemod Key will soon be available for beta testers, bundled with Voicemod Pro subscriptions, with a broader US launch expected later this year and a second version anticipated early next year.
