Photomator and Pixelmator Pro now support RAW files from over 30 new camera models
The Pixelmator team has announced a significant update for Photomator and Pixelmator Pro, adding support for RAW files from over 30 new camera models. Starting today, users can preview, open, and edit RAW images from a range of new devices, including models from GoPro, Samsung, and others that are not natively supported by Apple apps like Preview or Photos.
Pixelmator acknowledged that integrating support for these new RAW formats was “quite the challenge”. The update is designed to work seamlessly with Apple devices and lays the groundwork for potentially adding DNG export support in the future.
A detailed list of the newly supported camera models is available in the announcement post. This includes GoPro cameras from Hero5 to Hero12, various Samsung NX models, the Fujifilm X100VI, GFX100, GFX100 II, and GFX50S II, the Panasonic DC-G110, and the Nikon Z f caemera.
This update is available for free to all existing Photomator and Pixelmator Pro users.
