Drupal 10.3 released with new Navigation UI, stable Workspaces, SDCs support, and Recipes
Drupal has released version 10.3, bringing new features and improvements focused on enhancing user experience and performance. Notable additions include an experimental Navigation user interface, stable Workspaces functionality, and support for Single-Directory Components (SDCs). The Navigation module introduces a collapsible, vertical sidebar for the administrative UI, with sub-menus opening in a full-height drawer, and supports extensive customization via the Layout Builder module.
Workspaces now support multiple work environments, enabling site owners to stage and deploy content changes simultaneously. Single-Directory Components (SDCs) streamline development by consolidating all files needed for UI components into a single directory. Menu item editing has been made more straightforward, with advanced options accessible through a sidebar.
Additional features include Drupal recipes for automating module installation and configuration, and a new Access Policy API for advanced access management solutions. This release is the final feature update for Drupal 10, with Drupal 11 set to launch the week of July 29th.
