Pixelmator Pro 3.6 update enhances masking tools with AI-Powered features

Pixelmator for Mac has released version 3.6, bringing substantial improvements to its masking tools, which are essential for image editing and object selection. This update features AI-powered masking tools that aim to speed up the process of selecting and editing or deleting objects within an image. The new Quick Selection tool now includes an on-screen set of masking tools, allowing users to fine-tune their selections more efficiently.

The AI enhancements on the masking tools reduces the need for manual adjustments, as users can further refine AI-generated selections to ensure accurate identification of the foreground and background. The update also improves the speed and precision of object selection and introduces vector masks, enabling users to drag shapes like squares, circles, or custom shapes over an image to create masks. These vector masks are fully adjustable.

Pixelmator Pro 3.6 is available as a free update for all existing users, allowing them to benefit from these latest enhancements at no additional cost.
