
KeePassXC 2.7.8 enhances Passkey support and 1Password & Bitwarden password import
KeePassXC, the widely used password manager, has launched its latest version, 2.7.8, introducing a range of bug fixes and enhancements. The update is particularly notable for improvements made to the passkey support.
In this new iteration, users can now modify an existing passkey or incorporate one into an existing entry. The software has expanded its compliance with specification standards, and users will now receive a warning before exporting a passkey. In addition, the update brings various UI enhancements to dialogs and context menus.
The 2.7.8 update also presents several quality of life improvements. These include enhancements to the importers for Bitwarden and 1Password, among other advancements. Lastly, KeePassXC 2.7.8 addresses various crashes identified in the preceding release, further improving the stability of the software.
