YouTube redesigns channel pages for improved viewer experience on connected TVs

YouTube is set to overhaul its channel pages to improve the viewer experience on connected TVs. The new design will feature a larger background replacing the small banner for a more engaging visual experience.

Channel details will be organized on the left side of the screen, with an "About" section displayed below, and a "Subscribe" button and a "Play mix" option for easier content access. The design will also include video carousels for simpler content exploration.

These changes, initially used for official artist pages, will now apply to all creators' channel pages on TVs. The redesign will be gradually rolled out in the upcoming weeks, as part of YouTube's ongoing efforts to optimize the platform for TV screens and enhance accessibility across various devices.
