YouTube client for VisionOS, Juno, was pulled from the App Store after a YouTube complaint
Juno for YouTube has been removed from the Apple App Store following a complaint from YouTube, which stated that the app violated their guidelines. YouTube's complaint focused on Juno modifying their website in ways they did not approve of and issues with the use of their trademarks and iconography. The app, described by its creator as a simple web view similar to a browser extension, modified the CSS to make YouTube's interface resemble visionOS
The developer emphasized that Juno did not block ads or misuse logos beyond what YouTube already displays, and the “for YouTube” suffix was within YouTube’s branding guidelines. Despite the developer's arguments, YouTube refused to clarify or change their stance, leading Apple to remove Juno from the App Store.
Originally a personal hobby project to gain experience with Vision Pro and enhance YouTube viewing, the developer expressed disappointment over the abrupt end but appreciated the positive feedback from users. Those who already have Juno installed can continue using it unless future YouTube updates break its functionality.

Coders need to stop pushing YouTube content and prioritize Odysee and other platforms and only bring in YouTube content not hosted elsewhere. Have it clearly display where the content is. That would help people make the switch that needs to happen.
