Xbox Cloud Gaming will let users stream their own game libraries & buy games on Android

Microsoft is set to introduce new features for Xbox Cloud Gaming users, enabling them to stream their own game libraries starting in November. This feature will reportedly allow users to play hundreds of their previously purchased games on the cloud, beyond the Xbox Game Pass library, pretty similar to how GeForce NOW works.

Initially, this feature will be available to Xbox Insiders for testing before a broader rollout. However, some games might be excluded due to licensing issues.

Additionally, Microsoft will allow game purchases via the recently re-launched Xbox mobile app on Android in the US, beginning in November. This change follows a court ruling affecting Google's billing requirements. Xbox President Sarah Bond announced that players can purchase and play Xbox games directly through the Xbox App on Android devices.
