JetBrains is making WebStorm and Rider IDEs free for non-commercial use
JetBrains has expanded its free non-commercial licensing model to include its WebStorm and Rider IDEs. This move follows the company's recent introduction of a similar model for RustRover and Aqua. If you don't know these software, WebStorm is an IDE for JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks like React, Angular, and Vue, offering features such as a smart code editor, integrated tools, AI assistance, and collaborative capabilities. The other one is Rider, an IDE designed for .NET, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Xamarin, and Unity development, which provides code quality tools, cloud development environments, and a data science platform, supporting Windows, Mac, and Linux.
Non-commercial users, including those involved in learning, open-source projects, content creation, or hobby development, can now access these IDEs at no cost. However, the licensing for commercial projects remains unchanged. Other JetBrains IDEs are not impacted by this update. JetBrains plans to assess the results of this initiative to determine if it can be extended to additional software in the future.

I already liked WebStorm and Rider already, now that they are available for personal noncommercial just makes them even better.
