Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be available day one via Xbox Cloud Gaming on October 25

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, the latest and highly anticipated installment of Call of Duty, is now confirmed to be released on October 25, and will be available on Xbox Cloud Gaming and Xbox Game Pass simultaneously. This is a notable event as the game was previously announced to be available day one through the Game Pass subscription service, but its arrival on XCloud was uncertain, since Ubisoft holds the rights to the game in the cloud. However, it has been confirmed that the game will be available Game Pass, xCloud, and even GeForce Now.

Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can access the game starting at 1 PM ET / 10 AM PT on release day. Microsoft is focusing on expanding game accessibility through cloud technology, as emphasized by Ashley McKissick, Corporate Vice President for Gaming Experiences & Platforms.

Alongside Black Ops 6, other popular titles like Modern Warfare III and Warzone will also be available on Xbox Cloud Gaming later this month. This news comes just a few days after learning that Microsoft plans to introduce a feature that will let users stream their own games via Xbox Cloud Gaming, expected to launch next month.
