ONLYOFFICE 8.0 launches with new features and enhancements for Docs and Desktop Editors
ONLYOFFICE, the well-known online office suite recognized as an alternative to Microsoft Office and LibreOffice, has just launched version 8.0 of ONLYOFFICE Docs and ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors. This update brings multiple enhancements across the suite.
In the new version, users can create intricate forms in PDF and fill them out online, as well as in the desktop and mobile apps. Version 8.0 of ONLYOFFICE also introduces support for bidirectional text in documents and presentations, making right-to-left (RTL) input partially available, albeit with some limitations. This marks a significant step forward, though it may not fully support RTL-based scripts.
Accessibility has also been improved in ONLYOFFICE 8.0, with better screen reader support now available. In addition, spreadsheets have been upgraded with a new Goal Seek feature, a new chart wizard, a Series feature for quick creation of number sequences, and more.
To enhance team visualization, the ability to add user avatars in the editors has been implemented. The left panel for working with comments in the document editor has also been optimized in this version.
When it comes to presentations, users can now set the final color for color changing effects in animations. Other enhancements in ONLYOFFICE 8.0 include new localization options, an updated UI for plugins, improved performance, and more.

I just wish they integrated Languagetool in a better way that worked inline, maybe similarly to how Libre did it.
