Kodi 20.3 “Nexus” released with several bug fixes, enhancements, and backports
Kodi, the open source media center, has disclosed the release of its version 20.3 “Nexus”, featuring enhancements, backports, and bug fixes. The new version includes a range of fixes for Estuary, such as improvements to home categories' focus position, alignment of counter labels, Shift view for collections, and adjustments to the weather layout when busy.
A notable fix in Kodi 20.3 is for controllers incorrectly assigned to game ports on Android, and the issue of blue/pink washed out colors on Windows with 10-bit displays. Other fixes include a crash in Port dialogue box and a typo for the mouse middle button in Controller dialogue box.
This version also addresses issues with DVD playback, particularly unmounted drives not being playable. It resolves infinite loops in CPluginFile when using scrapers, and a crash caused by Addon settings being destructed in an incorrect order.
Kodi 20.3 has made changes to Toast notifications by redacting some information, and it has also fixed a memory leak in context menus. Image cache handling has been corrected to regenerate when cached files for JSON API consumers.
The music library now has the ability to recover automatically if library cleaning was interrupted for any reason. Furthermore, Kodi 20.3 brings platform-specific fixes for Android, tvOS, Linux, Windows, macOS, and iOS.
