Elgato launches official Slack plugin for Stream Deck devices and mobile app

Elgato has introduced official Slack support for its Stream Deck devices and Elgato Stream Deck via a new Slack plugin. The plugin expands user capabilities by enabling direct messaging with individuals or groups from the Stream Deck interface, and access to both private and public Slack channels.

The Stream Deck plugin includes a function to pause or resume notifications with a simple button press, allowing users to efficiently manage their communication preferences. It also provides a feature to assign a button for direct messaging a specific contact, displaying their online status on the Stream Deck button. The plugin can be obtained from the Elgato Marketplace.

And for non-Elgato users, you can also try some macro creation alternatives like Deckboard, Macro Deck or TouchPortal, with support for other recognized tools such as OBS Studio or Discord.
