Airtable expands capabilities with Airplane acquisition, shutting down on March 1
Airtable, a renowned low-code platform that facilitates team collaboration through shared data, has announced its acquisition of Airplane, a developer platform known for building internal UIs and automating workloads. As a result of this acquisition, the entire Airplane team will be incorporated into Airtable.
However, this transition also marks the end of the Airplane platform, which is scheduled to sunset on March 1. The platform has already stopped accepting new signups. Existing users will be provided with additional details via email.
For current Airplane users, there are a couple of options. They can migrate to Airtable and await the integration of Airplane features into the platform. Alternatively, they could consider transitioning to another product such as Windmill or explore other competitors in the market.
