DisplayBuddy 2.0 for Mac launches with enhanced features and modernized interface
DisplayBuddy 2.0 for Mac has been launched with a range of new features and enhancements. The updated version sports a modernized interface design, with sliders that mirror the macOS Control Center. Each external display connected now has its own section in the interface, simplifying access to controls like Input Source, resolution settings, and display power.
The new version introduces a 'presets' feature, letting users save and restore customized settings for different screens with a click. Presets can be adapted to different situations, such as a daytime preset with high brightness and a nighttime preset with lower brightness. A Sync option is also included in the update, allowing uniform configurations across all connected displays.
The update also offers support for controlling the Mute button on compatible displays, HiDPI settings, and better management of keyboard shortcuts. It also resolves the issue of controlling brightness levels on non-Apple external monitors with Mac keyboard brightness keys. DisplayBuddy is available for $16.99 per license, or through the Setapp subscription, which includes a free seven-day trial. Existing users can upgrade to DisplayBuddy 2.0 for free, with more information available on the app's official website.
