Microsoft's alternative to Notion, Loop, is now available in the Microsoft Store
Microsoft Loop app, which was launched just under a month ago on iPad, is now available for download on the Microsoft Store. The app, introduced as a competitor to platforms like Notion and Obsidian, has experienced increasing demand since its private preview in 2021. The public preview release on iPad in March allowed Microsoft to gather user feedback and make improvements, and with its arrival on Windows, the company aims to further expand its reach while continuously introducing enhancements to stay competitive with its rivals.
It is worth noting that Microsoft Loop's new app is not actually a native app but rather resembles other Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) that the company has been adapting from its popular services recently, such as the newly redesigned Outlook Mail & Calendar apps for Windows 11. To use Loop on Windows, users will need to link their existing Microsoft 365 accounts or ensure that the platform is enabled within their organization. Once enabled, the app will automatically find workspaces and display recent content, facilitating project updates.
