YouTube is cracking down on ad blockers with a more aggressive approach
After experimenting with blocking ad blockers last month, YouTube has introduced a revised version of its dialog box for free users. While premium users are unaffected, those who browse YouTube and watch videos using an ad blocker may now encounter a popup warning that the video player will be blocked after three videos.
First spotted by user /u/Reddit_n_Me who shared a screenshot on Reddit, the dialog box reads, “It looks like you may be using an ad blocker. Video playback will be blocked unless YouTube is allowlisted or the ad blocker is disabled.”
With an increasing number of users turning to ad blockers such as uBlock Origin or AdGuard to avoid annoying ads, Google is seeking ways to convert more users to YouTube Premium or encourage them to watch ads, through this rather aggressive approach.

Still haven't had a single issue using revanced and an adguard dns on mobile and a mix of ImprovedTube, Vivaldi's built in adblocking, Adguard extension, and the Adguard app on desktop. Also, haven't used it since this started but never had issues with FreeTube either.
The ads on YouTube are way too annoying. And those who don't want ads really should try Bilibili, a rising cute alternative to YouTube. 😄

Its no wonder ppl use addblockers , THE ADDS ARE FAR TO MANY , FAR TO FULL ON not only that THE KIDS LOOSE INTREST DURING IMPULSIVE ADDS , It used to be a different sight altogether , now its corrupt with adds , GREED , Its about someone puts out a kinda copy ish and makes it free add free ... THE ADDS ARE TERRABLE and TERRABLE for kids , distracts my autism , pardon the delexica spelling of me , sorry about that , i absalutly hate more than one ADD esp FULL SCREEN ONES ... find an alternative to youtube
