OneNote adds scratch-out gesture for smooth ink erasure

OneNote on Windows has introduced a new feature that allows users to erase ink with a simple Scratch-out gesture. The Scratch-out gesture provides a faster way to delete ink without interrupting the flow of your work. To use this feature, select the pen tool and draw a loopy or zig-zaggy stroke over the ink you want to erase. The ink behind the stroke will be removed, and you can undo the erasure by selecting the Undo button. It is important to note that this gesture works best when it fully covers the content you wish to erase.

If you want to disable the Scratch-out gesture, it is easy to do so in the options menu under File Options Advanced Pen. It is also important to note that the Scratch-out gesture is currently only available to Beta Channel users running Version 2304 (Build 16322.10000) or later. This feature is not available on OneNote for Windows 10. However, users who have access to this new feature can take advantage of a faster and more efficient way to erase ink while working on their projects. If you are a Beta Channel user of OneNote on Windows, be sure to give this new feature a try!
