Pixelmator Pro adds support for AI and EPS files, and offers 50% discount for limited time

Pixelmator Pro, the macOS-oriented professional image editing software, has announced the introduction of support for Adobe Illustrator (AI) and Illustrator EPS files. Users can now open these files with all their layers, including text and shape layers, fully intact, and edit them directly in Pixelmator Pro. This update eliminates the need for Adobe Illustrator when working with AI and EPS files, and also allows for the conversion of these files into other formats.

The software's latest update also includes performance enhancements, promising a quicker image editing experience when switching between tools and opening documents.

In addition to the technical enhancements, Pixelmator Pro's update introduces a series of holiday templates. These are designed to streamline the creation of holiday-themed cards, posters, social media posts, and stories.
