Venmo introduces 'Venmo Groups' feature for easier bill sharing among friends and family

Venmo has launched a new feature, Venmo Groups, to simplify the process of sharing bills among friends and family within the app. The feature enables users to monitor, divide, and manage ongoing expenses such as dinners, holidays, and household costs, with individual shares calculated based on the group size, eliminating the need for manual calculations or other apps like Splitwise or Settle Up

Users can create and join groups within the Venmo app under the "Me" tab, providing a structured approach to managing shared expenses. The groups are also persistent, allowing for ongoing tracking of expenses over time, but users can also hide a group they're not active in.

Currently, Venmo Groups is available to a limited number of users, with a wider rollout planned in the upcoming weeks.
