Windows 11 update introduces revamped settings and removes the Cortana app
Microsoft has recently rolled out Windows 11 Build 25967 to Insiders in the Canary Channel. This latest update introduces a revamped Settings homepage that delivers a “dynamic and personalized experience”. Users can now benefit from a comprehensive overview of their device, swift access to crucial settings, and efficient management of their Microsoft account.
In a notable shift, the new build no longer includes the Cortana app. Microsoft has confirmed the termination of support for Cortana, marking a significant change in the company's digital assistant strategy. The Cortana app for iOS and Android was already discontinued in March, and in August, Microsoft deprecated the Windows Cortana app, so this is a logical step in the discontinuation of the virtual assistant.
Additionally, the release brings updates to the Windows Subsystem for Linux, incorporating networking enhancements and more. Microsoft has also addressed and resolved a number of known issues in this build.

That's probably the first good decision Microshit has made since the Windows 7 days.
