Artifact enhances post creation with the addition of timed polls

Artifact, the newsreader/social network, recently launched 'Posts,' a feature that allows its users to create and share their own posts in a dedicated discovery tab, and since then, the platform has rolled out several updates to it like the one announced today, which includes the ability to create and include polls in posts to boost user engagement and interaction. Users can access this feature by selecting "Poll" at the bottom of the composer box and setting the poll duration and options. After the poll ends, the creator and voters will be notified of the results.

In addition to polls, Artifact also introduced the possibility of creating customized images using generative AI to accompany shared posts in case there isn't a pre-designed image a few days ago.

Recent updates aimed at content creation and sharing are solidifying the platform as a major competitor to traditional microblogging and news reader platforms like X, Threads, or Flipboard. While some crucial requested features, such as a web version are still pending, but judging by the current update pace, we can expect to hear about it soon.
