DeepL Write: Perfect your writing using AI

DeepL, one of the best online translators, has launched a new AI-based tool to improve writing in English and German, and positions itself as a promising alternative to Grammarly, perhaps the most popular service of this type these days.

DeepL Write is the name of this powerful tool, which despite being in beta version, already presents several interesting features that could make it more than just a simple grammar checker. DeepL Write suggests improvements in syntax, tone, style, and terminology. It can improve grammar, punctuation, and even reformulate and complete sentences. Additionally, the variety of options suggested by the tool ensures that you can perfect everything you write to your liking, without losing your personal touch.

To use Write, you will need to write or copy text into the left section of the application and select the language you want to use as a reference for improving your text from a drop-down menu. Once you have text in the editor, Write will automatically show you the result. If there are suggestions or corrections that can be made, they will be highlighted in the text. You can click on them with the left mouse button to see the available options. For example, you can choose whether you want suggestions on how to improve an 'entire sentence' or a 'word'. Of course, you can incorporate the suggestions into the text or ignore them. By following this process, you can review an entire text to improve writing in the languages mentioned above. Keep in mind that in its beta version, Write only supports texts of up to 2000 characters.
