Windows 10 October 2018 Update detailed

The next feature update to Windows 10 will bring several features under a simple and self-explanatory name.

At 2018's International Broadcast Exhibition Berlin (IFA) in Berlin, Microsoft Corporate Vice President Erin Chapple announced more about the next major Windows 10 update during its keynote presentation. As detailed on Microsoft's official Windows blog, this update will simply be titled the "Windows 10 October 2018 Update."

As covered by Tom Warren for The Verge, the Windows 10 October 2018 Update will include a cloud-based universal clipboard that will allow users to copy and paste content across multiple devices signed in to their Microsoft Account, a dark skin for the built-in File Explorer app, various improvements to the included Microsoft Edge web browser and Xbox App, and an updated screenshot tool.

Outside of an October release window, no other specifics have been shared about when this Windows 10 feature update will launch.
