A curated list of privacy tools that keep your data on your own device — nothing uploaded, nothing stored anywhere else, nothing for anyone to steal or hand over. No accounts to create, no servers to trust, no company standing between you and your own information. Just tools that do their job quietly, on your device, and nowhere else.

A Windows app that locks your text messages so tightly only the right person can read them. Works fully offline — no internet, no account, no cloud. Stays private even if your files get stolen. Locks itself when you step away, wipes itself if someone tries to break in.

Encrypts text messages before you send them through any messenger — WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, email, or anything else you already use. Everything happens locally on your device: no server, no account, no cloud. Three independent layers (rotor cipher, AES-256-GCM, Perfect Forward Secrecy) protect every message, with Argon2id password hardening and a full self-wipe after too many failed attempts. Runs portable from a USB stick, no installation needed. 100% compatible with RotorCrypt X-Files (Desktop) and RotorCrypt X-Mobile (Android) for exchanging encrypted messages. Available in 20 languages.

Privacy tools that keep your data local — nothing stored, nothing shared, nothing to hack. Every tool on this list runs fully offline, requires no account or cloud connection, and puts the encryption keys entirely in your hands, not a provider's servers.

Your message, your decision, your privacy.
