deapple/degoogle apps i love

does everything i need it to as a great alternative to google drive that won’t train AI with my photos.

alternative to google calendar, with many of the same abilities. dislike that i can’t add event invites automatically from texts or email and have to manually put them in. would like a tasks/to do feature as all you can add are events. cant have any shared calendars that aren’t with proton. over all it does the trick but it leaves something to be desired

i enjoy knowing google is not reading all my emails or implementing a ton of AI features i don’t want. there were no category options when i installed this app like gmail has, however i adjusted and now am better at tagging and putting mail in folders. i am much more organised! cons; the free version is limited. calendar invite emails don’t automatically go onto my calendar.

simple, easy to use with no issues, great free service. have tried numerous options and beaver notes stands out as an alternative to apple notes.
