Sadly the alternative Element is a honeypot, can't trust a protocol (Matrix) made by an Israeli company, most likely part of Mossad. Right now I will have to switch to Jami until I find a better alternative.

Downvoted a comment on VLC Media Player as an alternative to PotPlayerI do not use Windows, and PotPlayer is Windows-only. That automatically means I cannot use it. I just moved completely to Linux a week ago after CoPilot appeared on my PC after an update, and remained after uninstall. I really LIKE PotPlayer, but again, now that I'm Linux-only on all 4 PCs, it's of no use to me. VLC is the next, closest alternative.
Downvoted a comment on PotPlayerA free app that doesn’t have a Linux version? It could be multiplatform since it is highly praised, and I can't try it out to see if it’s my go-to player. So, minimum rating. After all, I can't even use it.
Please developers, make it compatible with Linux. We are the ones who love using computers the most in the world! We deserve you.
Upvoted a comment on calibre as an alternative to Moon+ ReaderCalibre may be a great tool for ebooks on desktop computers (Windows, Linux, Mac) but it isn't an ebook reader on Mobile (Android) devices at all. It should be listed as an alternative source for books, but not for the reader app.

This is the most horrible app I've used in a while.
First impression was not good. I tried running it through the exe file, but nothing worked. (Solved by typing localhost:5000 directly into the web browser) Since this requires the server to work, a window for it is always present in the taskbar. This is not an elegant way to do things. The way to add book(s) to this app is also unintuitive. Adding a book requires the user to read the manual to get it right. The only way to add a book is by...

Would you like a media server? Would you like to play media you own, stuff that's on a hard drive you can plug into any device already and just play it? WELL! Jellyfin is a system whereby you can do that, but without plugging that drive into a bunch of systems! For a little while. Then these utter morons will force broken updates on you, ruin everything, break and delete files, utterly wreck anything they can reach. But don't you know? You're a user, you don't get to control the system you own,...

As an PDF-editor - no problems 5 stars. As a PDF viewer - terrible staff. It just all the time try to stretch the document on full screen. Which makes it impossible to read.
