After so many scandals with Hola, it feels like only ZenMate is still clean. Very easy to use. The speed is also very decent. If you're looking for a simple VPN solution to view regionally-restricted content, ZenMate will do the job.
Advertising fast speed. Yeah if your racing a"dead turtle". Tor browser was faster. And you can forget about live support or support itself. And No clear answer in the policy or response from email to"login"and user's info being stored. Protons free version much better and even though their in"eye's jurisdiction" Canada,Windscribe has 10GB VPN free version. Use both of these
Zenmate is easy to use which makes it a good choice. The servers are well protected and maintain a good connection. I like using this browser
Excellent browser. Protects me completely. Maximum ease of use and almost no loss of internet connection speed.
Zenmate is a good service and provides an easy user interface for consumers. It is not my ideal VPN as its privacy policy appears to allow the disclosure of a lot of information that it collects subject to a subpoena or court order from any court.
The Privacy Policy states it will disclose information, "To the extent necessary, with regulators, courts or competent authorities, to comply with applicable laws, regulations and rules (including, without limitation, federal, state or local laws), and requests/orders of such bodies." Zenmate does not indicate it will release records pursuant to a criminal court order or subpoena, but the language is very broad, thus it will honor any court order or subpoena. I am aware of other services who do not collect any user data, allows payment in Bitcoin, and expressly states it will only honor a criminal subpoena from the country they are based in.
Although Zenmate is based in Berlin, its privacy policy acknowledges the collection of numerous data points. For anyone that knows a little about subpoena for records, they are boiler plate forms the attorney signs. In California, a civil subpoena for the production of records are PDF fillable and the judge the lawsuit is assigned to is not required to review the subpoena.
Other than the above, I take no issue with Zenmate and have found its service is easy to use, the servers are reliable, and am happy to see it provides a decent amount of privacy for the average person who does not want his or her ISP from keeping logs on every search and each website visited. Best to everyone here, Darren Chaker
This is a wonderful browser ! I have not seen this level of protection in other browsers. Very much like the ease of use and almost no in data transfer speed. Very comfortable. Recommended
I like that you do not need to install anything on the computer. Everything is installed in the browser and it’s more convenient to work
