What is Z-TEXT ?

Z-TEXT is a private messenger built on the BitcoinZ blockchain. You sign up with a 24-word seed phrase instead of a phone number, email or SIM.

Messages are encrypted with AES-256-GCM and sent as shielded zk-SNARKs transactions, which hide sender, receiver and amount on-chain. Every one-to-one message uses a hybrid X25519 + ML-KEM-768 post-quantum key exchange (NIST FIPS 203). There is no central message server: messages live on the blockchain.

Z-TEXT is 5 apps in one: messenger, BTCZ wallet (transparent and shielded addresses), password manager, Channels and Communities, and disposable identities. It also has a panic PIN and a stealth mode that disguises the app as a calculator.

The wallet and reading Channels are free. Sending messages needs a one-time license: from $3 for 30 days up to $128.52 for lifetime. No subscription.
