What is Yesta?

Nobody keeps a diary going. But anyone can say what a day was, once they are shown a picture of it.

Every morning Yesta shows you this calendar day from all your earlier years, read from the capture dates of the photos already on your phone, and asks one question: what happened today? One sentence is enough, typed or spoken. A year from now it will be there again, next to the pictures from today.

  • A note for every day, including days without a photo
  • Letters to later: sealed until the day you choose
  • A calendar across all years, chapters for your trips, a year in review
  • Search by what is in the picture, by your own words, or by date
  • A home screen widget and at most one notification a day
  • Import from Google Takeout if your pictures live in Google Photos

Everything runs on the device. Yesta has no account, no server and does not even request the INTERNET permission. Free, no ads. English, German and Spanish. Android 10 and later.
