What is XLS Padlock?

XLS Padlock compiles Excel workbooks (XLS, XLSX, XLSM, XLSB) into protected Windows EXE applications that open in your customer's own Microsoft Excel. Hide formulas while keeping them working, compile VBA code so the source leaves the workbook, and control use with activation keys, hardware locking, expiration dates, run counts or a USB dongle. Online activation runs on your own PHP server.

Ship and sell: build a code-signed Windows setup with Paquet Builder, deliver keys automatically from WooCommerce or FastSpring with the free integration kits, and push updates with the built-in Web Update.

The editor and the compiled applications are available in 10 languages. Requires Microsoft Excel 2010 or newer, or Microsoft 365 (32 or 64-bit). The free trial is full-featured and never expires; applications compiled with it show a reminder and expire a few days after build. A one-time license costs 149 EUR excl. VAT with 12 months of maintenance and royalty-free distribution.
