Xentium is a self-hosted, open-source community platform and CMS: forums, articles, member profiles, private messages, moderation and more, all in one place and all on your own server. MIT licensed, free forever, no "community edition" catch.

Up and running in one command. Install with npm and the setup wizard does the rest: npm create xentium@latest my-community

Design without code. Theme Studio lets you rearrange every page by drag and drop, restyle colours and fonts live, preview it, then publish with one click. Install a theme, switch back anytime, and nothing you built gets lost.

Built to grow with you. Plugins add what you need: forums, messaging, polls, file downloads and more, installed with one click from the built-in marketplace. Members who stick around. Ranks, badges, progression, rich profiles, live notifications and a modern editor with emojis, mentions and embeds. Moderation that has your back. Warnings, bans, review cases, activity and error logs, plus fine-grained permissions for every group.

Sign-in done right. Passkeys, magic links and social login, alongside classic passwords.

Moving house? Bring everyone. Built-in importers for vBulletin and WoltLab bring your members and content with you, and they keep their passwords.
