The xenonauts game wouldn't have happened if xcom hadn't happened first.
Xenonauts M_O_Z_G The main idea of Massive Chalice is that you are literally engaged in crossing and breeding soldiers and scientists. And that's all! Because the other aspects are extremely poorly developed. Trying to compensate this, the game artificially increases the difficulty with random events with one or another negative result. As a result, you lose advantages from a random roll of the dice rather than from your strategic decisions. And you can't prevent it.
