What is X-Pat?

See the country any X (Twitter) account posts from — country flag, VPN badge, and source platform — without opening a single profile. Read directly from X's own data, with no third-party geolocation.

Hover a profile and the flag is there. Turn on flags in the feed and one appears next to every handle. Swipe right on mobile to reveal a location on demand.

In short: an X account location checker that runs where you read — no site to visit, no handle to paste, every profile on screen checked automatically.

WHAT YOU GET

  • Country flag in hover cards, on profile pages, and inline in the timeline
  • Source platform and app-store country — confirms or contradicts the stated location
  • A red VPN badge when X itself cannot verify the location
  • Copy any post as a PNG image with the flags embedded — one right-click, ready to paste anywhere
  • Filter posts by country or region — collapse them behind a "Show" button or hide them entirely
  • Highlight posts by keyword, or by accounts stacking flag emojis in their bio
  • Mark accounts younger than a threshold (90 days, 180 days, 1 year, 3 years)
  • Filter accounts by X organization affiliation (government, NGO, company badges)
  • Per-rule exception lists — exempt specific accounts from any filter without disabling the rule
  • Account facts card — verification status, account age, handle-change count, affiliation badge, protected-account indicator
  • Swipe right to reveal, on Android and touch-screen devices
  • No login, no API key, no rate-limit errors halfway down a thread

X RATE LIMITS, SOLVED INSTEAD OF HIT

You have seen it — flags fill in at the top of a thread, then stop. Or every profile you hover spins and never lands. That is the rate limit: X cuts you off at 50 account lookups per 15 minutes, and one busy thread has more accounts in it than that.

Most profiles here never cost a lookup because they are already cached in your browser or answered by the shared community cache. The rest is rationed across all open X tabs by a cross-tab broker, and the last 30 percent of the window is held back for accounts you actually hover.

Run it dry and you get a countdown to the reset, not a blank flag.
