What is WipeCert?

WipeCert is data erasure software for IT teams, MSPs and IT asset disposition companies. It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux machines, x64 and ARM64, and starts a wipe four ways: desktop agent, bootable USB or ISO, PXE network boot, or Microsoft Intune.

WipeCert picks the erasure method for each drive (NVMe Sanitize, ATA Secure Erase, cryptographic erase, multi-pass overwrite and others) and the operator confirms it. Every wipe ends in a digitally signed PDF certificate stating the method and the NIST 800-88 level it reaches, Clear or Purge. Anyone can verify a certificate at wipecert.com with no account.

With Intune, wipes run from inside your own tenant: a BitLocker-encrypted device is certified Purge, an unencrypted one Clear. Intune can also push a remote bare-metal wipe that restarts the device into WipeCert and erases the whole drive, with nobody at the device.

The dashboard tracks devices, shows live progress and keeps an audit log. Plans start at $79 a month. You start with 2 free wipes and no credit card. Enterprise pricing on request.

WipeCert is not SOC 2 audited, and does not hold NAID AAA or R2v3.
