All I can say is, if your looking for a rock-solid replacement for HyperDock, then look no further... Wins is extremely light-weight and runs really well.

I'm not sure why HyperDock got abandoned, but over the yearsthere have been many imitation apps, but they all had issues - Wins is the first tool I've come accross that actually feels like a natural successor.

It feels cool at first glance but it's so buggy, and it hooks into the system too much which makes it nearly impossible to fix except by rebooting when it runs into a bug.

It has frozen my system many times and I can't exit it with either the console or Activity Monitor.

I can't say it's malicious yet, but just FYI it even tried to type things into my console when I tried to kill it from the console.

And it's a bit sus for a product that asks for many permissions -- which I know are required to manage windows on macOS but still -- has no company or author info, only a nearly silent Twitter account and a website with an interesting TOS.
