I Used this for quite a while a while and liked it. eventually I Noticed that it would just stop recording and sometimes erased stuff. I eventually notice that it would stop recording at about when it got to 11GB. I eventually found out that it stopped when it it got to that size because it was using that space for it's live tv buffer or something like. Seriously who needs a live tv buffer of around 11GB these days, when most TV Channels don't even get to 11MBPS.
I need to record my cable TV using CableCard with no fee for the guide. I can do that now with WMC, but I want to upgrade to Win 10, and that will blow it away.
This worked pretty good, but I would have problems with it locking up my computer every once in a while. When it was working I would use a separate plugin that allowed me to upsample my videos when I played them on my TV. It made them look a lot better, so for that I liked it, but otherwise I was not very impressed I had better luck with windows media player or any other player.
